Open Door Food Pantry

Hours volunteers are needed:

8a.m. - 3p.m.

Help needed includes:​​

  • Stocking shelves
  • Daily cleaning
  • Help with food carts to vehicles
  • Box cutting
  • Organizing
  • Receiving & sorting

Open Door Service Center

Hours volunteers are needed:

8:30a.m.-3:00p.m.

Help needed includes:​​

  • Checking in patrons
  • Answering phone
  • Making coffee
  • Directing patrons
  • Be friendly and kind​

Open Door Kitchen

Hours volunteers are needed:

9a.m.-2p.m.

Help needed includes:

  • Chopping ingredients
  • Preparing food
  • Serving food
  • Daily Cleaning
  • Organizing storage
  • Making coffee
  • Washing dishes

Open Door Thrift Shop

Hour volunteers needed: 8:30a.m.-3:30p.m.

Help needed includes:

  • Tagging clothes
  • Sorting Clothes
  • Hanging clothes on racks
  • Moving boxes
  • Assist in carrying out furniture
  • Running register

Come in for 1 hour or stay the whole day, it's up to you!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • You volunteer at any of our 3 locations and receive a Voucher that can be used at Open Door Thrift Shop!


GUIDELINES:

  • Sign up by filling out volunteer form- click the button below
  • Receive a $1.00 voucher to our Thrift Shop for every hour you volunteer with Open Door, up to $25.00 in a month
